In May at NeetoChat, we shipped emoji reactions and read indicators on the message bubble, added two new webhook events for internal team activity, trimmed long Slack messages, and cleaned up image attachments and notification emails.
Here's everything we shipped in May 2026 in NeetoChat.
You can now react to a message with an emoji from the message bubble, useful when a quick reaction is enough instead of a full reply. Reactions are internal and visible only to your team, not to the customer.
Outgoing messages also show a delivery indicator. A grey double check means the message has been delivered; a blue double check means the customer has read it. Learn more in Message reactions and delivery status.
Two new webhook events fire for internal team activity: note_added when an agent adds a note on a conversation, and mentioned when a teammate is @-mentioned inside a note. Useful for surfacing internal escalations in your own dashboards, or pinging the mentioned agent over Slack. See Creating webhooks to subscribe.
Long messages mirrored to Slack are now trimmed at 3,000 characters with a link back to the full conversation in NeetoChat, so Slack's payload limit no longer breaks the mirror.
Image attachments display with consistent sizing across the inbox, the widget, and notification emails.
Inbox views with Show count disabled no longer run a background count query, so the inbox sidebar loads faster for organizations with many views.
Follower notification emails are no longer scheduled when an agent has just replied themselves; only new visitor activity triggers the follower email.
Fixed an issue with the recent-activities digest email being sent to followers in unintended cases.
Fixed an issue where some external Neeto integrations were not fetching data correctly.
That's everything we shipped in May. You can follow us on X, LinkedIn and join our Slack Community for more updates.
