# Set Your CRM Base Currency | NeetoCRM

Set the base currency your organization sells in and choose how amounts look, with symbol or code, position, number format and decimal places.

## Overview

The base currency setting in NeetoCRM defines the currency your organization sells in and how amounts are displayed. Admins pick it once in the general settings, and it applies to every new product, deal, quote, and invoice created from that point on.

Alongside the currency, you choose the display format: show a symbol or a currency code, place it before or after the amount, and set the number format and decimal places. A live preview confirms the result before you save. The format is used everywhere in NeetoCRM, including product prices, deals, quotes, invoices, and reports. If you sync with QuickBooks, set the base currency to match the connected company's home currency so the sync works.
