# Expense Tracking for Projects | NeetoInvoice

Track business expenses in NeetoInvoice with amount, vendor, category, notes, and an attached file, and link each expense to a client and project.

## Overview

Expense tracking in NeetoInvoice keeps business expenses in the same place as your time entries and invoices. Add an expense from the Reports page with the amount, quantity, date, vendor name, category, optional notes, and an uploaded file such as a receipt.

When a cost belongs to specific work, link the expense to a client and project, which helps agencies see what each engagement costs. Admins create expense categories in the Admin panel, such as software or travel, so business expenses are grouped consistently and easy to review.
