Let’s go through what we shipped in January 2026 in NeetoRecord.
You can now restrict domains which a recording can be embedded on. This is useful when you want to share a video publicly but limit where it can be displayed, giving you more control over how your content is distributed.
The Finder modal has been redesigned with a cleaner interface, making it easier to search and locate your recordings quickly.
We've removed camera controls from the control bar to make it more compact. This keeps the recording interface minimal and less distracting while you work.
We've made UI improvements to transcripts for better readability. The Settings section in both the Desktop app and the Chrome extension has also been polished for a more consistent experience.
Fixed an issue where users were unable to paste text into speaker notes in the desktop app. You can now paste content as expected, making it easier to prepare your talking points before recording.
Resolved a bug where the control bar appeared zoomed in on certain displays, causing parts of the interface to be cut off. The control bar now renders at the correct scale regardless of system display settings.
Camera and microphone lists now correctly populate after resetting the app. Previously, users had to restart the app to see their available devices.
External camera feeds that previously appeared distorted now display correctly.
The app now prevents starting a new recording session while an upload is still in progress, avoiding potential data loss.
Resolved a bug where macOS users ended up downloading updates twice during auto-update. Updates now download and install in a single pass.
Erleben Sie jetzt die Einfachheit von NeetoRecord!
