# Scheduling Automation Rules | NeetoCal

Automate follow-ups with NeetoCal automation rules. Send emails, SMS, webhooks, or calendar invites when meetings are booked, canceled, or end.

## Overview

Automation rules in NeetoCal trigger actions before or after meetings, so repetitive communication runs on its own. Each rule has a trigger, such as a meeting being booked, rescheduled, canceled, starting soon, ending, or having its outcome changed, and one or more actions.

Actions include sending an email or SMS to the client, the host, or anyone else, sending a webhook, or sending a calendar invite. Messages support dynamic values like the client's name and meeting time. For example, a consultant can send a feedback request email to every client after a meeting ends. You choose which scheduling links each rule applies to and can pause it anytime. Workflow automation like this saves time and reduces no-shows.
