# API Templates to Send Form Data | NeetoForm

Use API templates in NeetoForm to send form data to CRMs, databases and other apps with a saved endpoint, customizable JSON body and custom headers.

## Overview

API templates in NeetoForm let you save a predefined request for sending form data to an external system. Instead of configuring the same request again, you define the endpoint once and reuse it to push submission responses and metadata to CRMs, databases or third-party services.

Each template has a URL, a request body and optional custom headers. The body starts with a default payload containing all responses and metadata, and you can rename fields, add custom entries or use variables that reference submission data. Custom headers, added as key-value pairs, are handy for authentication tokens.

Use API templates to sync submissions with an internal database, send leads to a CRM or kick off workflows in other tools. Templates can be edited or deleted at any time, or marked inactive when you do not need them.
