# Control Video Viewer Permissions | NeetoRecord

Choose whether viewers can download videos, read transcripts, comment, see summaries or view counts. Set rules globally or per video in NeetoRecord.

## Overview

NeetoRecord gives you control over video viewer permissions, so you decide what your audience can do with a shared recording. You can allow or block downloads, transcript viewing and downloading, comments, summaries, view counts and embed code access. You can also set default playback speed and volume, and restrict embedded playback to specific domains.

Set these rules globally in the Admin panel so every recording follows the same policy, then override them for individual videos with sensitive content or different audiences. For example, a training team can allow transcript downloads for internal lessons while blocking video downloads on a customer-facing demo, without changing the settings on any other recording.
