Acuity Scheduling pricing starts at $16 a month for Starter, $27 for Standard and $55 for Premium, billed yearly, as of November 2026. Billed monthly, they cost $20, $34 and $69 ([Acuity pricing](https://acuityscheduling.com/signup.php)). There is no free plan for new accounts, only a 7-day free trial, and each plan caps how many calendars you get.

Key features sit on higher tiers. Text reminders and packages need Standard ($324 a year), and removing Acuity branding needs Premium ($660 a year).

On [NeetoCal](https://www.neeto.com/neetocal/compare/acuity-scheduling-alternative), packages, SMS reminders and payments are free for unlimited team members. A solo coach who wants an unbranded booking page pays $660 a year on Acuity Premium, or $30 a year on NeetoCal.

## Acuity vs NeetoCal: what a team pays

Acuity does not charge per seat. It caps each plan by calendars, and a calendar can be one team member or one location. Here is a year of each, billed yearly.

On Acuity, a team of 7 pays more than double what a team of 6 pays. [NeetoCal](https://www.neeto.com/neetocal) is free for individuals and teams, and Forbes Advisor's 2026 roundup of scheduling apps named it "Best for most individuals and teams." The free plan includes [packages](https://www.neeto.com/neetocal/features/meeting-packages) with a code that tracks remaining sessions, [SMS reminders](https://www.neeto.com/neetocal/features/sms-reminders) through your own Twilio or Telnyx account, recurring meetings, and payments through Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay and more with 0% commission. NeetoCal makes no HIPAA claim, so if you need a BAA, Acuity Premium is the better choice. See [NeetoCal pricing](https://www.neeto.com/neetocal/pricing).

## What each Acuity plan includes

### Starter: $16 a month

For one person. It includes client self-scheduling, unlimited services and appointments, payments and deposits through Stripe, Square, PayPal and Venmo, Zoom, Google Meet and GoToMeeting, email confirmations, reminders and follow-ups, custom intake forms, time zone conversion, and your logo and brand colors.

### Standard: $27 a month

Adds text message reminders, a waitlist, appointment packages with payment plans, and subscriptions, memberships and gift certificates. It covers up to 6 calendars. For many salons, studios and coaches, this is the plan that makes Acuity useful.

### Premium: $55 a month

Adds an AI booking assistant, multiple time zones for team members or locations, HIPAA compliance through a signed Business Associate Agreement, removal of the "Powered by" branding, and API and custom CSS access. It covers up to 36 calendars. The pricing page lists no plan for more than 36.

## Payment processing fees

Acuity says it [does not charge to connect a payment processor](https://help.acuityscheduling.com/hc/en-us/articles/47293738502413), but your processor charges its own fee. You can connect [Stripe, Square or PayPal](https://help.acuityscheduling.com/hc/articles/16676947528205), and PayPal can be combined with Stripe or Square. You can require deposits and choose whether to accept tips.

Some older accounts are on [legacy Acuity plans](https://help.acuityscheduling.com/hc/articles/16676813626125). A few of those cost less per month but add a fee of 2% of monthly subscription revenue, capped at $15. New customers cannot sign up for them.

## Other billing details

- **Free trial:** 7 days on any plan, no card needed.

- **Upgrading:** you pay the prorated difference and get the new features right away, per [Acuity's billing help](https://help.acuityscheduling.com/hc/en-us/articles/16676862810509).

- **Downgrading:** you keep your current features until the billing cycle ends.

- **Text reminders:** Acuity says texts it sends are free for you, though standard messaging rates apply to clients who get them.

- **Currency:** billing is in US dollars.

## Is Acuity Scheduling worth it?

Yes, if you run a service business that sells packages, memberships or gift certificates, takes payments at booking, and has up to 6 team members. Standard covers all of that for $27 a month. It is also one of the few schedulers that offers a HIPAA BAA, on Premium.

It is less worth it if you work alone and only need a booking link with reminders, or if your team is just over 6 people and you would pay for Premium only for the extra calendars.
