# Recover Discarded Recordings | NeetoRecord

Discarded a recording by mistake? NeetoRecord keeps discarded recordings for 3 days, so you can download or upload them again from the desktop app.

## Overview

When you discard a recording in NeetoRecord, it isn't deleted right away. The desktop app keeps discarded recordings for 3 days before they are permanently deleted, so a recording thrown away by mistake can still be saved.

To get one back, open Settings in the NeetoRecord desktop app and go to the Discarded recordings tab. From there you can download the video to your computer or upload it to your workspace, and carry on as if you had never discarded it. After the 3-day window, the recording is gone for good.
