# Import Leads into Your CRM from CSV or Excel | NeetoCRM

Import leads into NeetoCRM from a CSV or Excel file. Map columns to fields, preview records, detect duplicates and choose to merge, skip or create them.

## Overview

NeetoCRM lets you import leads from a CSV or Excel file, so moving from spreadsheets or another CRM does not mean retyping data. Upload a file with headers in the first row, then map each column to a lead field such as lead name, contact name, company, email or phone. Create custom fields for columns without a match, or ignore columns you do not need.

A preview shows the first three records as leads so you can confirm the mapping. Duplicate detection can use name, email and phone automatically, or a field you choose, and duplicates can be merged, skipped or created. Imports run in the background, and the import history page shows each import's status.
