# SMS Appointment Reminders for Clients | NeetoCal

Send SMS appointment reminders to clients before every meeting with NeetoCal. Connect Twilio or Telnyx, set reminder times, and customize each text.

## Overview

NeetoCal sends SMS appointment reminders to clients so they remember upcoming meetings and show up on time. After you connect a Twilio or Telnyx account, you can turn on text message reminders for any scheduling link and add as many reminders as you need, set in minutes, hours, or days before the meeting.

Reminders go to the phone number the client enters in a phone number question on the booking page. Each phone question has a Send SMS updates setting, so you control which numbers receive texts. Clinics, salons, tutors, and consultants use SMS meeting reminders to cut no-shows, since a text is often seen sooner than an email.

You can use the default reminder text set in the Admin panel or write a custom message for each individual reminder, such as a detailed note 24 hours before and a short nudge two hours before, so every text fits its timing.
