Screen recording of connecting Devin to NeetoChat. The neetochat server is pasted into ~/.config/devin/mcp_config.json, and devin mcp login neetochat runs in the Devin terminal. The NeetoChat sign-in page opens and is approved with Read and Stay connected allowed. The terminal then reports that neetochat is authenticated.
Add the server, run devin mcp login, and sign in to NeetoChat.

Then ask Devin in a Local session. Devin asks before each NeetoChat tool call. Choose Allow, or pick the option that allows every NeetoChat tool for the session:

Screen recording of Devin Desktop connected to NeetoChat. Devin is asked how many conversations are open. It calls ListConversations, groups the open conversations by theme and lists the ones that have waited longest.
Devin answers from your NeetoChat data and asks before it uses each tool.

Connect with an API key

An API key reaches the whole workspace, not only what you can see. It is not tied to a person, and role checks do not run.

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "neetochat": {
      "url": "https://connect.neetochat.com/mcp/messages",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"
      }
    }
  }
}

Troubleshooting

Devin connects but the tools are missing

Open the ... menu at the top of a Devin chat in the IDE view and turn the neetochat server on, then run devin mcp login neetochat.

The connection is refused or unauthorized

With an API key, the header must read Bearer YOUR_API_KEY. With OAuth, run devin mcp login neetochat again.

More fixes are in the NeetoChat MCP troubleshooting guide.
